Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Feel August Health website (feelaugust.com) and related services operated by Artful Living Psychiatry & Wellness Nursing Corporation (“Feel August,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Scope of Services

Feel August provides outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services via telehealth to adults (18+) located in the State of California. Our providers are board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) licensed in California. Services are delivered through HIPAA-compliant video platforms. We do not provide emergency, inpatient, or crisis services.

2. Telehealth Consent

By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge that your care will be delivered via telehealth (live audio-video). You understand that telehealth involves electronic communication of personal medical information. While telehealth has benefits including improved access and convenience, it has limitations — including the inability to perform a physical examination. You may withdraw consent and discontinue telehealth services at any time.

3. Eligibility

Our services are available to adults aged 18 and older who are physically located in California at the time of their appointment. By scheduling, you represent that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if clinical circumstances require a level of care we cannot safely provide via telehealth.

4. Medical Disclaimer

The content on this website — including essays, condition descriptions, and educational materials — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No provider-patient relationship is created by your use of this website. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

5. Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments are scheduled through our website or by contacting our care team. We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee, which will be communicated to you before your first appointment. We reserve the right to modify our scheduling and cancellation policies with reasonable notice.

6. Fees & Insurance

We accept select insurance plans and offer self-pay options. Insurance coverage and copay amounts depend on your specific plan. You are responsible for understanding your insurance benefits and for any costs not covered by your insurer. Payment is due at the time of service for self-pay patients. We do not guarantee that services will be covered by your insurance plan.

7. Privacy & HIPAA

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your health information is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and California law. Please review our Privacy Policy and our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to all patients before their first appointment.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photography, and design elements, is the property of Artful Living Psychiatry & Wellness Nursing Corporation and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Feel August disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and limits liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our services.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
